NEQ Autumn in the Adirondacks 2017
Great cars, great roads, great fun and all with great people!

Please join us on Saturday, September 30, 2017, for the NEQ Autumn in the Adirondacks Event, where we'll drive through some of the best twisty and scenic country roads the Adirondacks has to offer.

This all day trip was planned with all drivers in mind. If the “curvy road ahead” sign gets you excited, roads like the ones through Ilion & Frankfort Gorge, Blue Ridge Road, Ensign Pond Road, and Tracy Road are sure to please. Even if the twisties aren't at the top of your list, the scenery will be just as impressive as the roads. Fall in the Adirondacks is a feast for the eyes. The views of the red, orange, and gold backdrop contrasting the mountain lakes and rivers, bring travelers from thousands of miles away to observe nature’s beauty. The stunning panorama of Lake Champlain at the Crown Point State Historic Site is a sight you won't soon forget.

This event will take place rain or shine. We look forward to seeing you. We had an incredible response to the 2016 event, register early so you don't miss out.

Don't own an Audi? That's OK! We might tease you a bit, but you are welcome anyway!

ACNA members and non-members welcome. Family and friends welcome. Non-Audi marques welcome. You don’t need to drive an Audi to enjoy the fun, camaraderie and a beautiful day.

It was great!

We have attended both the 2016 and 2017 NEQ Fall Drive and both events were top notch. Tight turns, beautiful scenery, a variety of mostly Audi cars, a fine dinner to end the day and best of all, a group of Audi enthusiasts enjoying the day. It started out damp and the weather improved during the day. If I can figure out how to post files from my dash cam, I'll post them.

My wife enjoyed the second half of the day more because I became more comfortable with throwing our A7 through the twisties. She's an adrenaline junkie who used to co-drive in SCCA Pro-Rallye events. I learned to stay off the brakes (Audi drivers don't use brakes), trust the equipment and let the new sway bars, Alu Kreus and driveline bits do their job. I was able to drive two tons of car through the turns without holding up the TT's and S4's.

Registration opened in the spring this year so check the ACNA NEQ site (Welcome to the Northeast Chapter of the Audi Club) next February - March to sign up. Space is limited since there are two groups of 15 cars.

I managed to upload some videos from my dash cam to YouTube. They are from the afternoon because I forgot to pull the memory card at the end of the event. The morning twisties were much tighter and went up and down mountains. The twisties in the videos were tight and mostly in the flatter area around Lake Champlain.
