goddamn car...
i get to it last weekend and the battery is dead... not clicking dead, flat dead...
take the battery to some stupid auto store... "its dead" thanks... i buy a new one....then install it, then go get new tires on the car.
i leave the car sitting for 2 days now and once again the battery is dead. totally flat, blackout, dead.
wtf? something is draining this thing... that was a fully charged battery i drove around on for 3+ days...
i think i have audi roadside for another 5 days thankfully. No freakin clue what could be causing this... brake light out warning randomly comes on.
audi roadside cant find a service provider to tow my car to NJ...
they got some authorized audi repair shop in nyc to come get it and probably do the diag. on the car to see wtf is causing the drain...
this sounds like a bundle of joy ready to burst wide open on my wallet.
Do these audi repair facilities that are authorized by audi make you pay and audi reimburses you or do they submit a warranty claim to audi directly?

Has to be a big drain to make a brand new one go flat dead in a few days...
So you were not even able to jump it? I had a trunk light on my VW do that to me once... you could give that a quick look if you jump start it and have it running at least.

my parents had a similar problem
with a random short...
I then stood behind the car randomly and noticed that the brake lights were not functioning properly. turns out my dad had replaced a bulb and somehow put it in backwards ( he's an EE, he doesnt get confused easily) this was enough to cause a short and cause problems with the tail lights when teh car was running,
and to flat drain the battery after just a few days of sitting. dont know why. but sounds like you've got a crossed wire.
