Hello AudiWorld NYC/NJ/CT. I am visiting a family member in NYC and experienced some brake fade with my 2000 A4 Quattro during my drive North, so I want to replace my brake pads and rotors before I head back to Virginia next week. I was planning on doing the brakes in a few weeks anyway, but this weekend seams like a good time to do the job. The problem is that I do not have my tools, or friends to help, with me. Does anyone recommend a good local shop or someone who does some side work who can give me a hand and/or do the job? I am staying in Queens and have access to a backyard to do the job; I would just need to borrow a few tools to help the job along.
