Opinion needed on serpentine belt replacement
The car: 1998 A4 2.8 30V with 24,000 miles (yes, 24K, not a typo).
Normal Audi service and recalls done for the first 3 years. The last two years I've had oil/filter change (twice, one per year) and brake flush (once).
August will be my next annual service interval. The plan so far: oil & filter, brake flush.
I'm not very mechanically inclined, so what else should I check for?
The serpentine belt is now 6 years old, no sounds or visible wear, should I replace it for peace of mind and if so, how big a job is it ($$)? The car is outside 24 x 7, anything else I should have the dealer check for? Fuel filter, air filter, etc?
Thanks!

are you referring to the serpentine belts or the timing belt?
if your car is 6 years old I'd recommend replacing all the belts and they can get dry and crack w/ age. If the dealer does it, it will cost you $$$$. I'd recommend finding an independent shop.
