I knew these cars were easy to jack, but I didnt think someone would be ballsy enough to take it from my own backyard.

It happened early AM Friday. Last saw it at midnight, it was gone by 6 AM. There were two other cars in the backyard, and in maneuvering the car out of the house the thieves hit of the cars and the house.

I've been looking through Craigslist and Ebay and I see no signs of it yet. Should I be looking anywhere else? What do they steal these cars for- HIDs?

Some car info if someone sees it-
- 2000 S4, Tip, 175k.
- NY plates, DPX 5099.
- Should have some front and rear bumper damage, broken passenger side fog lights, all rims have scuff marks.

I used to live in Queens and know that there are a lot of shady repair and salvage shops near shea stadium. They'll probably send it there for parts or something. I doubt they would sell it on ebay or craigslist. Did you have insurance on it?

Unfortunately no insurance (and my homeowner's policy doesn't cover it either). I'm screwed b/c I need a car to get around, and being out of work, I can't really afford to buy a car right now.

Good point re: repair shops near Citi Field. I think I'll take a drive around there tomorrow.
