Default Paint Protection Film vs Ceramic Coating

Hey everyone
I am going to be taking delivery of a Audi A4 Allroad, and the dealer told me that I could have a ceramic paint protection coating applied by them, but I was wondering if I should just go get paint protection film applied.
The car is going to be primarily used for going to and from a Cherry farm, so it's a lot of highway driving, plus some minor unsealed road driving.
What do you think would be more suitable.

I've decided on a paint protection film for my car, adfter doing a bit of research. The car is being wrapped at a company called PROvinyl

They look pretty legit, and the cars they've wrapped look really nice!

There are plenty of good threads on this forum extolling the virtues of both film and coatings.

Since you asked: If you don't want to see small paint chips every time you wash your car (freeway/unsealed roads), please consider Xpel ultimate film. Adding a coating like Opticoat Pro or its equivalent will make it much easier to keep clean. I have been very happy with both - info gained from others on this forum.

Would strongly suggest you look up authorized installers for whatever film and/or coating you choose. What your dealer is offering may not be worthwhile.

I got the car wrapped in something called Sun Tech, which they said was high quality, and is manufactured in USA, as well as being self healing, which I have gladly been unable to check. Completely invisible, and I don’t even know it's there, and it's easier to clean than I expected, thought over time, the surface might get more rough, and the cleaning won’t be as easy, but we will have to wait and see. The total price was 3900 for the full wrap. If anyone is interested, here's the site Clear paint protection film, clear car bra, stone chip protection. 3M protective film.
