TOURE DE SUNRISE will consist of a fun driving day with a picnic lunch at Sunrise at Mt Rainier National Park. The route will showcase the twisty backroads through South King and Pierce counties to Enumclaw. Following Highway 410 from Enumclaw, the drive continues into Mt Rainier National Park, along the twisty road to Sunrise. Upon arrival at our destination, at 6400 feet, the highest point you can drive in the park, there will be a picnic lunch (bring your own food). The drive to the park is on state highways and the road inside the park to Sunrise is fun and full of twists and turns and eyefuls of scenery. After lunch the toure will continue down the road to Sunrise and Highway 410, returning to Enumclaw, where drivers may choose to extend the toure with a trip through historic Wilkeson and Carbonado, along the Carbon River canyon.

This event is a family event, a social fun run highlighting the superb scenery of Mt. Rainier. Photographers will enjoy the many opportunities to capture the park's scenic wonders, with many overlooks on the route throughout the day.
