we use Terminix...
They seem to do a great job. We live out in the woods on acreage and the critters are hardcore out here. They come out every 2-3 months and redo the traps and stuff in the crawl. They also do a perimeter treatment for insects, and have taken out a few carpenter ant nests we have had in some old stumps.
We also have a couple of badass cats that live 100% outdoors -- they really seem to do a good job keeping things out in the woods and away from the house. Combination of cats + Terminix seems to be FTW. The only rodents we see anymore are either well back in the woods, or dead on the door mat brought by the cats. |
I bet "they" left their calling card >>(s) eeeehhyuh-cccckkkkkk!!
"Redi- National" I've used them for ants. :-\

Dont let them find your car....
Last year we had over a dozen vehicles come in with rodent damage. Sometimes the repairs were minor, but we had a few that caused some serious havok(chewing through throttle body wiring in an Audi, setting up a nest in the ac box in a porsche and making the entire car smell of rat urine).
I had a customer call in about a month ago, she was on her way into work, heard a loud clunk and her check engine light came on. It appears she had a stowaway in her engine bay, when she started the car, it must of spooked him, and in the process of trying to escape, he "tripped" on the acc. belt and was jammed between the belt and pulley. Not a pretty site. Make sure you get them, before they get you.(or your car) |

...except for the rodentia. *I'm not a tree hugger* |
I have had some in my basement... I pwned them hard though with my uber skills
1 dozen old fashioned traps
6 sticky pad traps (worked amazing actually) 1 bucket trap (search for "bucket mouse trap" on google) some poison (although in hindsight I'd rather catch them and throw them out then have them rot away in my insulation). yeah I pwned them hard. they haven't been back in 6 months. They did make enough of a mess though that I had to replace about 1500sqft of visqueen :( mouse droppings FTL!!! |
