Default Good evening

Well, I am another new guy in the Audi world. Bought an '03 A4 1.8. Fun to drive, and scared to death of some of the threads I have read about them. You guys have a good indy shop around, or am I dealer limited? Think I need my timing belt done, and my clutch feels high?? Is it normally high? My VR6 was kind of like this but I don't know. If any of you have some tips for me....pass them on. I am new to the area, so trying to get my feet wet.

Thanks,
David

Default might help if you tell us where exactly you live.

Welcome! I love the B6 A4. Good choice.

Default Also how many miles on the car, yes audi clutches tend to be a little higher...

Should last for 100k easy. I am at 144,000 on stock. No slippage yet.

Default There are some very good shops out there, Redmond Euro has done us all well!

Really the dealer is good for hard to get parts, & that is about it.

Default Magnolia

I live in Magnolia (Seattle). 90K miles on it. I have heard of FatCity, and European only inc.. Not sure where I am going to take it, but would like to get it looked at sooner than later. And yeah, I love the car!
