Had to take my daughters 98 A4 in last week as our trip from Colorado created some problems- took me the next day after the call to fix:
1. Air Bag light
2. Whine coming from the front of the car
3. Cabin and Air Filter (Forgot to have them replaced before we started the journey to Seattle)

Was impressed they had the parts on hand. They also discovered the upper control arms needed to be replaced as well as a torn boot - and they had those parts on hand. Not sure any of the places in Denver would have been so well socked.

The whine - sadly is the dif - they drained the fluid and replaced it but still will have to plan on a rebuilt one eventually. Sigh - this is unexpected with only 82K miles (not really heard of this kind of failures on these cars)
