Been thru a few (too many) of those...that's why I now only do
very high-end custom residential jobs! Lotsa really cool clients and really cool homes. One is over 17,000 sf, including the indoor pool surrounded by a showroom for his car collection.
I'm lucky...I practice the architecture I love, and stay away from the crap I don't.

I hope to get there someday......
....meanwhile I do strictly commercial architecture. It is not as intimately coupled with the clients direct needs but, it pays better for a young career oriented individual like myself.
