Looks like I'll be cancelling my trip to Montreal this year.

the Formula 1 Gran Prix won't be in Montreal for the 2009 season.

The latest provisional F1 Schedule
F1 revises '09 calendar
With the French Grand Prix out and no confirmation yet that the Canadian Grand Prix will be rescued by public funding for a new promoter, Bernie Ecclestone has shortened the 2009 Formula One schedule.
The season now will finish two weeks earlier than planned. The FIA World Motor Sport Council approved a new, provisional 17-race calendar that has the Chinese Grand Prix moving from its normal October date to April.
The full schedule:
March 29: Australia
April 5: Malaysia
April 19: China
April 26: Bahrain
May 10: Spain
May 24: Monaco
June 7: Turkey
June 21: Britain
July 12: Germany
July 26: Hungary
August 23: Europe
August 30: Belgium
Sept 13: Italy
Sept 27: Singapore
Oct 4: Japan
Oct 18: Brazil

Somebody on AWOT posted that all of the hotels he tried in Monaco are already all booked...
during F1 weekend. So good luck : )
I was actually looking to go to Montreal next year also. Maybe do Barcelona or Venezuela, but those GP's don't seem to be as exciting as the Canadian GP is.
Monaco would be siiiiiick... But I can't afford that right now.
