Which would you buy? UrS4? UrS6? UrS6 Avant? and why?

ha.. you mean my A6.. =)) i love the old body style.. and they can be had at a
relatively inexpensive price... you're right a stage 3 S4 would be gobs of fun, but also pricey. =(

Now what are you planning?
Does it have to be an Audi, I think an E36 M3 would make one of the better track cars out of the box.
Another option is to find a B5 A4 (I know you can find them for cheap), gut it completely (I mean everything), do suspension, brakes, and stage 3

I almost bought a 97 urS6 avant instead of the TT.
Reason I didn't get it because the car came in that morning and as soon as I got there at late noonish, I saw the car drive off the parking lot. Barrier asked 33k for it at the time(it was 99) and they got exactly that.
So I have alot of love for them. Its the same engine thats in that 1200hp GTI that Dahlbach drives. It is 'almost' the same engine that beat the world record for the fastest 4wd car at 215mph. The block is able to handle alot of power without many mods.
This is a sweet car. It is the definition of over engineering.
I would love a urS6 avant. I think only 300 or so actually made it to the USA and Canada TOTAL. Good luck Jin. If you can find it, go for it.
