I will check. I guessing the air bag that came off was round? Do you think the trapezoidal shaped bag will fit?

No, the trapezoid will not fit on this steering wheel. You will need to get a circular airbag.

Looking at the online photos of a 2007 S8 steering wheel shows that they have the identical buttons on the steering wheel. However it's up to you to check to see if the harness is identical. If not, I am pretty sure your Audi dealer has a solution.

This is off the 2012? It came without the R8 emblem on the bottom spoke. It certainly looks like it's from the earlier era but I don't know for sure.
