I bought these around 1999 from SPP. Paid over $1k. They lasted for about 15 years then the lights just pointed to the ground. The insides that hold the bulb fell apart I was told. Don't know if they will work or not, but they should. Someone else removed them for me and put the originals back in. They sure did look good though. I had LaminX covers on them the whole time, then took them off at the end in hopes the lighting would get better, which it didn't help , which is when I discovered the inside broke. The outsides are in perfect condition! I then put the originals lights back in. I originally had to cut the fender to get these to fit - maybe they were made for a facelift on the B5 - or maybe they were for the B6. I have no idea at this point and time. When I put the original assemblies back in, the fender part cut doesn't show at all so hats not really a concern. These have an option of a 35 or 50 watt setup depending on which wires were connected, which from time to time I'd change back and forth trying to get a different output. Also including from SPP are two brand new 35 watt HID ballasts never used or opened.
No idea if there things are even worth anything to anyone, but I'll sell them for $80 plus shipping. Otherwise I'll just pitch them to the trash.
