Default 1.8T swapped for 5 cylinder inline 20v turbo? Anyone done this?

My dad has a 91 200, and we were thinking that engine might fit well in the A4. Considering that with some mild tuning the 5 cylinder engine is looking at 300 hp, that would be something I might consider. Anyone done this yet? If so, howd it go? If not, why not? =) Be patient with me, swapping engines is a new idea to me. TIA.

Default Good luck....

I'm sure the bell housings for the tranny are different, not to mention, physical size, the A4 is much smaller than the 200. I doubt it would phsyically fit. BUT, if you wanted to sell that 200 or the engine, email me....I have a different car I want it for

One cyl too long. The 5 cyl in the A4 would mean moving the radiator to the trunk.
