Default 19 min to swap pads in Boxster BBK... what is your fastest?

I got a bumb set of red boxes and had to replace them today. took a hair over 19 minutes from breaking the first lug free to torquing the last one including retracting all 8 pistons. Gotta love monoblocs....

Default stock jack?

I think I can do it faster with my hydraulic jack. I need to ditch my red box and throw the Hawkes in. I'll time it for fun.

Default chitty $20 hydraulic jack...

Threw some HPS in last night... much better than those Reds. Now I've got to figure out what pads to run at the track.

Default Who timed you? Was it a unbiased party?

I have never timed myself but I know it can be done very quickly. I love the monoblocks!!

Default I did S4 front pads at VIR last month on a customer's car at the hotel.......

didn't time myself, but the guy next to me was putting on his last track wheel when I started.

I was done first. :-)
Just a safe guess, well under 15 minutes.

Default I have the 996/boxster S monoblocks, and it takes more time to pull the wheels

than swap the pads. Gotta love it.

Default Pagid Orange or Hawk HT10s up front (StopTechs), and Hawk HP+ in the rears - that's my track pads.

Street is:

Axxis Ultimates and OEM in the rear. I would leave the HP+ in the rear, but I want to use up the stockers first and save the HP+ for the track only.

I have a set of Mintex Reds to go up front, but I'm not looking forward to using them. They came with the used StopTechs with only about 1k miles on them. I put the old, worn down AUs in to use them up first.

I think the Hawk HPS will go in after that, but that could take awhile to run down 1.25 sets of front pads on the street.

My Pagids are at half after 6 events, though. I think I'll replace them with the Hawk HT10s.

levels for Hawk:

HT-10 : track only
Blues (9012) : track only, limited street
HP+ : track/street
HPS : street
