1997 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro - Mods available?
Hi, i'm the owner of a 1997 Audi A6 2.8 Quattron (Sedan). I was wondering if anyone knows of any performance enhancing modifications available for my vehicle. I'm also looking for accessories that simply add to the look of the car. Please reply of email me @ ruf_jat@yahoo.com if you know of a place where I can buy any such parts for my Audi. TIA

30 valve right? I'm too lazy to check but I think that's what you have cuz my Uncle bought one a...
year later after my 96 12V. Anyway, resonable number of mods for you. If you like moderate gains, cat back exhaust and chips are around, but ready to spend a few dollars, get a supercharger kit and run with the big boyz 
There are a few makers of body kits too, but I don't have them bookmarked here at work. But if you like clean, maybe just change the wheels and get a lowering kit. Good luck

its a 12v, so you have afew basic options before the more expensive things
Throttle body - around 8hp $300
Cone Conversion - 8-12hp $100
Catback Exhaust - Dunno hp (5-10?) $300
New Cams - 12-25hp (can cause idle problems) $800-$1,000
Then there is more internal things such as ported heads, etc
These are really expensive, but offer the bigest payback. Expect to spend $3000 - $8000 depending on what you want to get done.
