2.0 liter is in......more
after two nights of cussing my new motor is in. i ran into a few probs {parts missing} picked up the parts and got it all buttoned up last night, and it did start. today i added coolant and a new coolant tank. i still have to bleed the air out of the system but i did have it running for a bit. those cams really lump ,this thing sounds so mean. i should get my safcII on thurs so it will be installed thurs night or friday then hopefully i will hit the dyno on sat. i will post numbers when i get them.

it idles great, right around 1000 i just have to tweek the fuel a bit . i took it out last night ...
and yesterday i put 100 miles on it. no complaints yet. i still can,t find the places to put my last two trany bolts. i was down at ngp on thurs and they have the new center diff from stasis in stock. it was so hard to not buy that thing 550$ plus about 2-3 hrs for install. hopefully putting the safc in tonight and going to the dyno on sat. i saw a bunch af people last night that i have not really seen since i blew up the motor. when they heard my car running with those big cams there mouths dropped to the pavement. the thing sounds so mean hopefully the power will back up the sound. i really need a need exhaust 3in all the way backwith two mufflers should be nice and quiet

For me I used the Lemmiwinks but from what I understand you can
use the vag alone to do the same thing. If your at 1000 rpms then you should be fine. The problem spot is at the normal 800 rpm since the car will have problems staying at idle.
BTW what size are your cams and what brand? Right now I am running 252 schricks and might be looking to go larger.
