2.7t Diode mod?
 

So I been reading about the diode mod with the maf and bringing up the boost.

Will this work with the 2.7t?

What Im reading is It can bring psi up to 17psi before limp mode.

Im not looking for that much and understand it depends on the diode I be using for what the ecu will read. Im just looking for a few more psi and have to ecu adjust its values for the changed psi.

Really the only reason for this is because a buddy on mine got a n/a honda si with mods and he beat a car that I was neck and neck with. Now I cant have his honda beat me, that would be just sad. I just need a few more psi, put him in his place and then bring it back down to stock.

The cheapest and easiest way on doing this seems to be a mbc with the diode mod.

Guess another question would be, how much more psi can I push before limp mode with out the diode?

Without tuning, I believe LM will kick in at 15psi without the diode mod. however I do not have personal experience to confirm this. Just from reading, it also could be different between the years of the 2.7 depending if its the APB or BEL engine, because one used the ME7 and the other used the ME7.1.1
