Matt2.8.. Evoluzione

Need some advice:

My car: '99 A4 2.8Q, 5 Speed,Cold,Bose, Leath,6Dsc, etc 50K Miles

I've earmarked about $1300 to put some zip back in the car. (ie power) This is what I've come up with so far:

Pes' Intake kit (~10hp) $279
Giac Chip $300-350
Neuspeed/Apr Snub $20-50
Good spark plugs $36-50

For installs, PES charges $150 for the snub, $75 for the chip. AWE is asking $38 for the chip install. I can to the intake myself.

I'm also investigating Xenon Kits, and lowering.

I apologize if i have duplicated posts, but I did a search and found out a bunch of stuff about the 2.8 engine upgrades in these forums. I'm in NJ (Princeton)

The intake IMHO wont really do much. Definitely not 10hp worth...
