2001 A4 1.8tq 5 speed ECU needed
during a chip install my ECU got shorted out and now I'm without the car. Audi (and everyone else I've talked to) says it will take 3+ weeks to get a new one. Anyone know where I can get one sooner? I need a 018CH ECU for a 2001 1.8TQ Manual trans. thanks... josh (jk@jother.com)

Re: How the did you short out the ECU?
I took it to a shop to have it done and one of the guys made a mistake by letting it touch the frame of the car while testing it. In the shops defense, they have been doing everything they can to be helpful. Mistakes happen....
