who says the a6 is boring???
I just got these done and I get a bit better throttle response, less lag and a different sound. Can't really pinpoint the sound but just every sound the engine makes now is slightly louder, more distinct. Can't wait till I get the rest of my exhaust system done!!!!!!!!!

what's next?
I have to admit the small radius bends are kind of distressing, but it's still probably better than stock.
The "donuts" on them are cats?
Obviously, having 3" downpipes and 2.5" exhaust isn't optimal, what are you going to do next?

Re: what's next?
lets see...right now, i wanted to get the downpipes first to see how much it would change the tone of the car. Safe to say, its a pretty subtle change but you can notice a difference. I think the factory piping was 2.25"'s and I will be getting 2.5" from the cat back. The install guy told me that just b/c the exhaust gases are hotter up front by the cats, its better to have a bigger diameter, but after that its ok to do 2.5" all the way back. So I'm looking to do that when they have some free time. Right now they have a S4 in the shop and should be done by this weekend, but have 4 more audi's coming in that will take a month to finish. So I'm not sure when but I will have them custom mount them so the tips will stick out of the rear valance like the S6 and not underneath the valance. Not sure if i'm going to be adding the pre-mufflers or an X-pipe to stop the resonating i might get when removing them. but i think i'm leaning towards the x-piping right now. we'll see...but i'll let you know.
