No, not for your Audi, but for many turbo diesel trucks. My brother has a 2006 6.0 liter Cummins in his Dodge and has a 'Smarty'program for it. He hooks it up to his ECU amd can instantly change flywheel torque and hp up to 170hp over stock. Why hasn't anyone made something like this for Audi's? The man behind Smarty is an Italian computer programmer by trade. Lemme know thoughts/opinions. I am not in any way a computer programmer, either.

I mean 170 extra hp. My brothers truck is 570 hp with fueling added
I know that's all they are doing is changing the fueling and boost. But was wondering more when a manufacturer will make one for Audi.

Cant get that much more power out of a tiny turbo setup.
The tuners already have "flash" programming which can allow you to change programs with a hand held unit that plugs into the OBDII port.

The B5 S4 is capable of 500+ hp with KO4's
It shouldn't be that hard to get a stage 3 setup with injectors, turbos, and intercoolers that will allow even more than 500 hp. Those single turbo diesels can run up to 1000hp.

Please look @ the size of these turbos before posting again. I run a GT30R whhich is good for 500whp
Mike runs a GT35R good for 540-600whp. These are big turbos which come on no earlier tan 3600rpm and most later. Also diesels are set to run huge compression without breakdown which would take a serious engine build to duplicate. they simply arent the same animal. I would say it is possile to build an engine that would hold up to a GT40R and you could see big gains, but @ the expense of lowere rpm driveability and the cost of some pretty hi-end titanium valves, solid lifters and cams and the strength to keep it together on the swing end too!

6.0 L cummins? i think you mean the 5.9L
I've done a decent amout of diesel performance before and this is possible because diesels normaly take in 85% more air than they can use, now just adjusting the amount and timeing of the fuel injected these huge gains are possible.
