4000 Quattro non turbo 20 valve swap
Anybody have any info or know of a website with some content on doing a non-turbo 4000 quattro 20V swap? My 4kq has a good body on it, but it has a slight rod knock and needs exhaust. I found a complete donor Coupe for a decent price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not worth it. The 20v is probably the sweetest NA 5cyl Audi made, but it has limitations.
For the power, you are better off putting in a good MC code 10vt over the 7A code 20v. Which is sad, because I am a fan of the 7A. Its downfalls are primarily surrounding the injectors (proprietary Hitachi, no longer being made!).
You could grab the CQ, pull its front suspension and put it on your car, ditto for the rear. You'd have the larger factory front brakes, bigger front wheel bearings (82 vs 75), two piece uprights, etc. You could then easily swap in 5x112 hubs and rotors from the S2.
If you really want a 164hp, 157lb-ft NA engine that is a very nice engine, and the price is right (<i>much</i> less than $1000), and you have the time to get it all sorted out, then go for it. It'll be a lot of work (wiring, clutch differences).
