Default Dont really understand the question, but trap speeds are a good indication of how much power the car

is making.
I think there are formulas out there...where you plug in trap speed and car weight, and it gives you approx hp

Default You can get the power numbers from the 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile MPH...

but usually not both.

The formulas that are out there are basically averages. They take timeslips from a bunch of cars with a known HP, and create a formula off of the MPH and ET numbers
