Default A8 Brake Problem - Help

Upon braking there is a "click" coming from what sounds like a front caliper. Audi shop checked and stated that even though they hear it also, everything is functioning properly with my brakes. They feel it may be in the suspension, but are unsure.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the problem / solution?

Thank you for your help. John Mahoney

Default Did you put back the spring clip on the front of the caliper?

It's used to hold still the front of the caliper with the bracket. If you loosen it too much and/or if you loose it, the caliper will make a "click" sound during the initial press of the pedal as it repositions itself in the bracket.

Thank you for the response. It goes back in on Monday and I will forward the suggestion for them to check. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
