ok, got big decision to make. finally saved up enough cash to buy myself an exhaust system.

here is the thing, i went to AMS and I talked to the guys over there about tha ABT offerings for an exhaust system, turns out, ABT doesn't believe in piping but only MUFFLERS. They said the stock piping is enough for the stock KO3 Turbo in there and that all you need is a muffler.

on the other hand theres the miltek exhaust I was looking at that has everything included, piping, mufflers, etc.

is there much of a performance difference? is the piping necessary with a stock turbo? anything else that I should know?

Changing the mufflers and removing the center resonator. Not the same car obviously, but without a chip I'm not sure upsizing another 1/2 inch is going to make a huge difference.

How much are the ABT mufflers out of curiosity?

the ABT Mufflers are around $1100 from my understanding, give or take a $100

And I love it. Sounds great.

I would def get the full piping. It's only a 4, but it's turbocharged. For a stock N/A 4 banger, bigger exhaust piping is probably going to take power away, esp down low. But the turbo will change that, want to maximize flow and minimize backpressure for the most part. My chipped/exhaust A4 spools quickly and has better top-end than with just a chip...

Also, $1100 for just mufflers??!!
