Hmm is that a trick question?
A wideband O2 sensor is connected to a A/F meter.
you can also use a normal narrow band unit, that is what our cars have standard in them.
Wideband sensors are used for tuning as they react to wider range on A/F ratio and generally quicker.
But a narrow band is then used in closed loop mode after your tuning is done to take monitor small changes.
