Default Any idea what would cause this type of scoring on a spark plug?

I replaced one of my ignition coils today as it wouldn't stay put in its hole. I also replaced the spark plug as it was fouled. I discovered the following on the spark plug. Any idea what would cause that type of scoring? Arcing from the coil to the plug?

Default Yes and they are relatively inexpense. The boots do tend toward carbon tracking and pinholing. Typ-

ically that leads to arcing to the head and misfires but ....
