any reccomendations on spark plugs?

Every Audi engine has one designed specifically for it
And you should not deviate from that UNLESS you are running a heavily modified engine. Take for instance the UR-S4 uses VERY specific plugs (at $15 pop) run anything else and the car runs like crap.
I've seen many instances of cars coming in the shop running poorly by someone else's "tune up". Put factory recommend plugs in, wires, etc and the car runs 100 times better.

LOL. But my Bosh F5DP0R runs the same as stock. Anyway, while on the subject of plugs,
has anyone noticed that #3 plug's porcelain is lightly stained compared to the others. I swapped coils and injectors with #1 then put in new plugs. 7K miles later, #3 still looks darker. Conclusion, it's not spark or fuel related, but probably PVC (oil contamination, from PVC hose connected to #3 intake runner).
Model Year 99.5 has different plumbing from earlier years so this might only be seen on 99.5 an newer 1.8T's.

farm gas is blue I believe
URL below says red means certain additives. Additives you possibly could avoid. Is that picture anything like what you see?
I dunno. Red is a new one on me.<ul><li><a href="http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/spkplghnbook.htm">http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/spkplghnbook.htm</a</li></ul>
