anybody ever had a "whiny" fuel pump?
While the car is moving I keep hearing what sounds almost like a "motor whining" sound from the driver rear side of the car. Its only while the car is moving though.
I did bleed my brakes a few weeks ago and I think I toasted my M/C in the process b/c my brakes are still squishy. Could it be something with the ABS? I don't think it has to do with the brakes because it doesn't go away when I hit the brakes, and I don't really think it sounds like a wheel bearing.

ABS control unit is under the rear seat, ABS pump is under the hood. Neither can make noises like you are describing.
A fuel pump can. Low on gas maybe? Sometimes they can start to make noise when the level is getting low, and they are having to work harder (same thing for a pump under a big load, such as a car with more boost, towing a load, etc).
Some pumps always have, and always will make noise (like the one in my CQ). Just listen for it to get louder. If yours didn't make noise before, and it is now, it could be on its way out.

Only time I have heard FP whine is with one of the Porsche racing in-tanks and thats just racing
Altho, the piece I am talking abt is good to 700hp so you may not need. If it is your stock pump it would probably make noise all time.

i'm thinking it may be something in the cabin....
I drove around with the windows down and didn't hear anything...so its really faint. It could even be something that is rattling and squeaking while its rattling. Its a weird sound....
Its definitely in the back on the drivers side though.
