Well...
Street price for a used engine new is about $3500-4000. Used, about $2500-3000. I bet this could be gotten from less than $2k as there are some floating around for that kind of price. All you'd need was an old Rabbit

How about just a long block?
Does the block or head differ from transverse to longitudinal? Are new long blocks available? What is a reasonable price for new? How about a used long block from a wreck?
Thanks,
Rich

I would seriously doubt...car to comment Todd?
BTW You say brand new with turbo? Sheesh the turbo is like $850 by itself right? That's a steal...where do these engines come from...are they in perfect working order? That'd be a great way to build a monster 2.0T or something along those lines...that way you can pace yourself and not have to ante up all the money at once...at the same time your principle ride is not down for the count.
Hmmmmmm he thinks...

These come without harness and ECU, but do have injectors, intake and exhaust manifolds...
K03 turbo, waterpump, etc.
They are an overstock item from a European broker we use.
AWN or AEB code engines.
