anybody who did the europeanspeed.com air box mod ?

Did it, no regrets.
I did not open up the wheel well though. I opened up the grill on the passenger side. I think that allows more cold air in.
The car immediately felt like it had more oopmh at higher RPM. Has a bad-boy intake sound too.
One thing. A couple folks have reported problems after sawing off the velocity stack. Probabllly excess turbulence past the MAF. I cut the velocity stack then epoxied the flaired part back on, opening up the end of the stack about another inch from the side of the air box but retaining the bell taper. - yea, like Back Magic Man shows.

Marginal difference..
A deep low volume 'rumbling' will be heard and the 2-3-4 shift is a TAD bit improved according to the butt dyno. I'm w/ WClark re: the horn, it helps straighten out the air flow as it assists MAF sensor readings.
