If you've got a 2001 car with APR stage 1 and EMCS, and you're so inclined, would you mind doing a simple test (especially if you're in a cooler climate)?
Pick a stretch of highway, pick a landmark; approach in 5th gear at 2400rpm, then go wide-open throttle and time the run from 2400-3400rpm (approx. 51-72 mph). While absolute numbers may not be meaningful, I'd be interested in seeing your chipped mode vs. stock mode results on this test. (and note your air temp as well)
Thanks!

No racing, not real racing anyway
There is for certain more Umph in the car with a chip than w/o a chip. I'd describe it as how the car should have come directly from the factory.
