Default How's the cold start and hot start working for you?

That was the biggest PITA for me.

Default Its OK...

Not perfect but OK until its broken-in. We're scheduled back at the dyno on Saturday the 8th of April. I'll leave it overnight so they can work on the cold start and refine the hot start. It did push 312 ATW on 7 lbs of boost. The low-end torque is amazing. I also really like the custom Southbend clutch. Holds hard without being grabby.

Default You didn't touch the cams at all, right?

The high lift cams I have on my car right now make it pretty hard to nail hot start. Too much fuel and the car drowns, too little and it won't fire. It always does after the 4th or 5th chug, but I got the cold start pretty nailed down.

What plugs are you using? The BP8ES I have are pretty good. If you step up to a 9 range plug, you might get some cold misfires.

The thing about the AEM is that it takes a lot of playing around to get it right and when you do, don't touch it again. Also, try leaving the key in the on position just long enough for the fuel pump to prime before cranking the car. If you don't, it won't sync right away.
