Default anyone ever run a K04 on a 2.0 stroker?

I ahve 118,000 miles, and will prob keep my A4 forever, or close to it. I also HATE turbo lag. Im considering rebuilding my engine once it starts approaching 200,000 miles, and was considering a 2.0 stroker kit. Is that way too big for a K04? I dont realy wnat to go bigger than a K04 because i liek ahving boost right off idle, and realy dont care much about power above 6500 or so RPM. I just wanta ton of torque. Or would i jsut bhe better off with a stock rebuild with maybe forged rods and pistons, or is that even overkill? Basicaly if I had ported and polished head, intake maifold, exhaust manifold (or custom tubelar header), camshafts (if dahlback can do the programing for them, wich i think they can)K04, FMIC, bigger injectors, and programing to work with 93 octane, what kind of power would i be capable of? would it be a waste with the K04? I imagine that the little K04 would help low end torque alot and with the better breathing of the port and polish the top end would improve slightly also? I imagine a 1.8 would work better than a 2.0 with this setup? or is more displacement always better?
thanks very much.

Default you could go a little bigger than a K04 without an inrease in lag if you're increasing

displacement as well.

No, it uses a newly designed K03.

Default Still don't understand your concern. Do you think it's too big ot too small?

my 1.8t used a K04 & it was fine. You should have very good response with your 2.0.

if the new 2.0T uses a K03 then a K04 should be just fine with your 2.0.

Default Ran ok but the K04 is too small for a 2 liter.

I had 7psi while revving out of gear and full boost around 2200 rpms. YOu want to go with a GT28 with the 2 liter, this will have good spool up and good power.

Default You can run the K04 but you will have to run it at very low boost.

Even at 1 bar of boost the turbo will be fully spooled and you wont have much power over 4500 rpms. Go with a one of the mid size turbo kits.
