Anyone figure out the source of the "coke bottle" sound?

I got my Borla installed today and now I understand what it is. There are many suggestions in the archives but nothing definitive.

By-pass (recirculation) valve most likely.

I heard soaking in hot water overnight will get rid of noise...Any experience with this?
