Anyone getting rid of their chip
#2
I have a box of them...
You need to solder a base on your ecu, or send it out to get it done. I have 3 chips of differing specs (1.0 bar/1.0 bar advanced timing/1.0 bar no limiter-a bit dodgy) from some WETT testing work on a 98.5 (a car I have since sold). I'll give you a solid deal on them.

Re: I have a box of them...
The programs are all variations on a theme. When wett first came to the US, I bought a chip and asked if they wanted some US gas chip testing at max street driving. I was able to give some advice on 91 oct. 120-135 mph driving at altitude. They made up several chips for me to test. They were all the basic 1 bar, but with timing and rev limiter changes. (1.0 bar/1.0 bar advanced timing/1.0 bar no limiter)
The car was flat out a bat out of hell. Smooth, fast, perfectly reliable. The no rev limiter chip was not perfectly stable with 91 octane gas (it was the german spec. chip, if you have 93 it "should" work well, but if not, you have a couple that will).
Make me an offer on them (you get the set w. instructions), and I can mail them this week.
