Default Ask mat at Induktion motorsports, he was asking me the same thing.

I have only seen S4 stage 3's with the problem since they produce more tq down low. Might need to limit traction to keep from breaking the half-shafts.

Default IIRC WYSIWYG toasted a few launching his A4 .. till he raised the car a little.

I think if you lower too much the angles conspire to add load to the shafts.

Wasn't it the CV joints he kept breaking?

I think so. I just considered the CVs as part of the 'half-shafts' and or 'driveline'.

Default Nice!

I have a spare set of front and rear S4 axles, but I would rather get Hi-Perf ones then be that poor slob that gets towed off the track...

BTS - I still blame you for my swap. :-P

Default That is

okay .. just don't blame me for your mental health once you've SNAPPED!

I know a few Stage III fwd guys that popped several Raxles (not as fast as they pop the OEMs tho) but last I read the latest iteration of Raxle seems to hold. The fwd can get tons of wheel hop where we don't tend to so I'd expect better durability from Raxle on the Audi fitments.
