Default anyone know how to remove the fuel pump and change the fuel filter?

i heard the fuel filter is a 7 hour job B/C the filter is wedged between the top of the gas tank and the body, so it requires removing the whole tank. please say it isnt so

also, i can remove the fuel pump from the hatch in the trunk, right?

Default Well..

Im not sure about the fuel filter being a 7 hour job. In my car the FF is just beside the tank and can be accessed from underneath the car. I do believe the pump is inside of the tank and requires you to remove the tank. Id say tops(If you have any mechanical skills and im sure you do) maybe 4 hours.

It sounds a lot more scary than it really is. Theres really not much to it, just make sure your not carrying too much gas. Do some driving till the light comes on and then head back home in about 10 mins.
