Anyone know if Vortrag/hyperco springs are still available?

Yeah, some 1300lb Hypercoil springs, but not Vortrag's custom wound Hypercoil springs.
Any Joe Blow can get any one of Hypercoil's catalog springs from a number of suppliers, which is what we always use.
The Vortrag/Hyperco springs were custom spec'd by Todd with specific ID's, OD's, lengths, rates, and wire diameters. These particular springs were only available through Todd. However, now that Stasis Engineering has purchased all/most of Vortrag's designs, they ought to become available again fairly soon. Feel free to email Paul@Stasis, he's a good guy.

CES Raceworks was working with Vortrag on the Speedvision A4 Touring car...
Paul Lambert, owner of CES, has created Stasis Engineering and has also purchased many of Vortrag's designs. He is also the driver of the racecar.

Re: Hmmm - are those the same players that were involved with Vortrag? Just new name?
Todd from Vortrag told me that Vortrag and another company (I don't remember the name) merged to form Stasis.

1300#'s, i'd need to go for a ride in that car...
Also, i need your opinion on spring rates for me.
I'm 85% aggressive street driving and 15% track days, and this car will never see competitions.
What do you recommend?

For you...
Hmmm...from what I know about you (hehehehe), I'd probably say 600/700. And no, it won't have crazy oversteer. Put it this way, Sharon and I are gonna run 800/1200 this weekend (we've been running 800/1100), and we hope for it to have just a little oversteer on super grippy concrete.
