Anyone know what these DTC codes mean?...
So I left my A4 for over a month, and as I get back, the
CE light is on. Got it checked out with a VAG-COM last
night and it produced the following codes...
18010 Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage Too Low.
35-10 -- Intermittent
16716 Knock sensor 2 (G66): Signal Too Low.
35-10 -- Intermittent
16839 Evap Emission Control System: Large leak.
35-00
We reset the codes, and it hasn't come back (as yet), but
I'd like to know why these codes came up in the first place.
Apparently there's some sentiment that sitting for extended
periods could do this, but I'm not sure why or how. During
all of this though, the car has driven normally with no
ill effects.
Any of you have a clue?
Cheers,
-Neil.

I have bentley but rarely use it. I typically do a search on audiworld and find more than...........
enough information. I already did a search before I answered that question and found the information so how about you do the search.

Good, then you should know what it means - not what it stands for
and if you did do a search, why don't you link what they are all about and what caused them
I don't tell folks to do a search unless it's too obvious - I just help answer peoples questions

Back...
Sorry this dropped off. Left town for a while, but I'm back now.
I should've phrased it better... I have/had a good idea what the codes mean, but I was wondering what it means to get all of them at the same time by just letting the car sit for a while. Best thought someone else had was that it may be an indication of early battery failure. If so, the 18010 and 16716 seems plausible, but the 16839 seems totally unrelated. And I did check the gas cap etc.
I guess I'm sort of disbelieving that 3 problems would pop up simulataneously after the car had been sitting for a while, and looking for a single common source that could fire off all these codes.
At this point, the CE light did come back on again. But the car runs fine still, and I still get my standard 23-23.5 mpg avg.
