Default Anyone know what typical EGT for a chiped car should be

I have a 02 A4 with APR 1+ and, I am haveing problems with my O2 sensor it was replaced last week, I am getting this fault code. also if the O2 sensor heats up will it fail?
1 Faults Found:
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1114 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
and my EGT's at 80mph are around 900 degrees C. is this normal? What range or tems should i be incurring?

Default 900 seems acceptable to me.

But how do you know they are 900? If you do have a EGT where is it located? pre turbo, post turbo, where the O2 sensor is?

Default Where's the EGT probe located?

if it's in the collector of the manifold, then that's probably about right, maybe slighltly on the high side though. I use to see ~1500F when cruising at 80mph.

Then I relocated the probe to the #4 runner, and the temps are ~1350-1400F when cruising.

Default In that case, it's useless....

It's too far away to give any real readings, and it's not that accurate.
