Anyone know where I can get a set of 4:11's for the 5 speed ?

The 4000's, 5000's, 80's, and 90's all had 4.11:1 gears.....
not sure on the trans or diff type though, someone with ETKA should be able to tell you (I won't have access until monday)
I do know they are available, talk to the guys at Stasis, I think they run 4.11's in the A4 touring cars.

Stock FD?
The stock FD is ~3.7X, so this would be tighter for quicker acceleration, right?
In my GSR I installed a USDM Integra Type R tranny (tighter/closer) than GSR, then went with a JDM Type R FD of 4.75! Combined with a 9000 rpm redline, car was a blast to drive. =)
Is this for a 1.8T? The gearing already seems pretty tight, especially since it doesn't rev that high. My GSR was spinning ~4600 rpm at 80 MPH in 5th gear! The 2.8 is slightly longer geared. How would the 4.11 FD work with 1.8T tranny in a street car?
Thoughts/Info?
Thanks,

The stock is 3.889:1 If you don't do a lot of highway driving, then 4.11's won't be too bad...
I have the 2.8 trans in my car, but I do a lot of highway driving, so I prefer the taller gearing.

3.7 is right for this front track, actually it is a track car not a street car. I need
to twist 5th gear up to 6500 for the end of the back straight at the Glen. With the Schrick cams that would put me in the best part of my power. Presently it is turning 5600(about 140mph), but I need more bottom end in 3rd & 4th on other parts of the track. Mathmatically the 4:11's appear to be the best choice.

Very cool!
Good luck that sounds like it will be a great setup. I miss my ultra close gearing in my GSR, but more boost/larger turbo will make me forget fairly soon (or a chipped S4), hehe...
Take care,

95, A6, 012...unfortunately the early 012's have a smaller set of
bearings on the diff. so the Quaiffe doesn't fit. I welded the spiders...great on the track, very difficult to push in the pits. Braking is perfect!
