Anyone modified their final drive ratio?
I have seen a few posts lately about upgrading the transmission on the A4. I seem to remember some discussion about modifying the final drive ratio to the EU version. I don't think anyone said they had actually done it but I would think it would be far cheaper than swapping out the transmission.
Has anyone done this? If so what did it take (parts, labor, etc.).

Just think of it as a treasure hunt . . .
Every box has junk AND goodies in it. The Amsoil box is one of the best. More unopened little baggies of Audi factory parts than you can shake a stick at.
Be careful, some of the lighter boxes have headlights, etc. in them. I did find BOTH Bentley's, the one in VGC and the one still in the plastic wrapper. You can pull the struts, strip, and paint them - because there is a full set of replacement wheel bearings!!! (Double check the size.)
Some of the stuff is for 10V engines, I thought Fluhr might be able to use it.
