Not one of their best products IMHO.
Actually not one of their in-house products at all, but anyway...
I've had both the street and track pads. The street pads are dusty as hell and squeal and don't really bite that well. Track pads = Major FADE-ola.
What kind of pads are you looking for?

Agreed (unfortunately)
Not only do they squeal, both of my inside front pads are rattling so bad it sounds like my calipers are about to fall off. Either the retaining springs that fit inside the pistons are too weak, or the edge of the pads (which are not beveled like other pads I have seen) started catching the slots in the rotors which bent the retaining springs, etc., etc.
Also, the wet braking problem is notably worse with these pads.
Haven't tried the track pads, but the street ones only bite well if you're stopping from above ~85 MPH, even if they are warmed up.
Also, the pads seem to be taking their toll on my rotors, to the point that when I recently sent pictures of my rotors to APR after only **3 months use**, APR said the rotors looked like they had an awful lot of wear on them!

Any suggestions on better replacements Porterfiled R4-S, etc??
I'm looking for High performance street and will also be getting a set of race pads for some track events this summer.

HAH!
Let's just say that the Porterfields and the APR Street SureGrips are *VERY* similar. *wink wink*
If you're looking for street pads in stock calipers go with EBC Greens - they're great for the street. Decent bite and nearly no dust or squeal. For track pads I like Hawks. I have HT10 pads but Hawk Blues are a good option too.

Re: Pads
I've been using Pagid Orange RS 4-4 pads for the track, and Blues, RS 4-2 for the street. Excellent stopping for both. Some dusting, but your going to get it with any pad. I'm running StopTech brakes up front.
