Default Anyone tried th SAAB Bosch BPV? Cheaper than Forge.

I got the 0280 142 110 Bosch BPV from SAAB. Apparently it is used in all the 9-3 Saabs including the high pressure turbo 151Kw Aero version. Its cheaper than the Bailey or Forge which I can't get in Australia, yet.
Cost Aus$82.(Bosch 102 is Aus$70, Bosch103 is Aus$45).

Seat of the pants dyno: much better torque delivery. No more hesitation or "whsssshhh" between 2000-3000rpm from standing start. The car just pulls away like new. However, I noticed a slight "whsshh" if I floor it in 4th gear between 2000-3000. However, it was for a shorter duration than before. The spring was certainly stiffer than the stock one.
Part-throttle surging is markedly reduced, but not totally gone. Therefore smoother overall.

Has anyone tried this valve?? Or other Bosch numbers?? I wonder if MC's valve is this one?
It has a metal insert in the diaphragm as well.
And it is certainly stiffer to push by finger.

Anyway hope this sheds some light in acquiring a cheaper alternative than the Bailey.

Default The stock Audi BPV has the same metal piece...

...on the diaphram, that the Turbo5 (MC) Bosch valve has.

Default 110 is the same one used on the Porsche.

The 110 valve is available in the US for $30. any difference you noticed between the stock and the 110 was in your head.

Default Is that right? I'm confused. Pls clarify. Thank you.

I thought the porsche uses the Bosch 108 and the 944 turbo uses the Bosch 102, both of which are Audi stock too.
So is the 110 the same as the 102 or the 108? If so, why a different number?
The Volvo S80 T6 valve which someone else used seems good. Can anyone else confirm the opinion? Apparently it is a Bosch 113. Is that right?
I'm bloody confused!
How much is the turbo5 BPV in Australia?? Incl. postage?
