Anyone try haltech computer in their Audi?

Well.....
First, what car do you plan on using it on, and what type of modifications have been done to it? The haltech was one of my choices when I was chosing a standalone ECU. The E6K seems fairly good for the price, but it does lack a few important features. No knock sensor, so add a few hundred $ to the initial purchase price for a J&S knock sensor. It does not come with its own ignition coils, so you have to use stock or upgrade the stock. This is another 300$. Also their software looks difficult to use. To create a fuel map you have to determine injector pulse widths for hundreds of combinations of RPM and MAP combinations. I chose the TEC, because once you factor in all the additional purchase for the E6K, the price is about the same. But the TEC-II comes with excellent CDI ignition coils. Knock sensor, boost control, crank sensor accurate to .5degrees, and it is easy to program. All it takes is 2 numbers to determine a raw fuel curve that will make the car driveable. I am still waiting for FJO (http://fjoinc.com/automotive) to have a final product, they are coming out with a very powerful standalone that costs around the same as the TEC-II. I intend to use it on my other project car (91 MR2 turbo). Finally, to maximize power either one is better than chipping
