Default APR $$?

Does anyone know the standard cost of the APR chip for the 2001 Audi S4 w/options and EMCS and installation? I am soon going to pay $800 total. What do you think of that? I am still researching. Thanks a bunch. Oh yeah, and one more thing. Does the warranty void? I was told it doesnt, and there is an on/off switch to the chip ne ways so it woudln't matter. With it off, no one would ever know.

Default void void void

If they look and see the aftermarket chip and can prove that it was the cause of the problem then the warranty is void for that particular case. If you get a spare ECU then they'll never know. Small price to pay for the warranty.

Default not if you get the EMCS

its not that much more for it and you can switch between on/off and erase all the fault codes. i got mine back at christmas when they ran a special where u get the chip with the 3 programs(race wasen't avaliable back then for the 2001 a4) for just the price of the chip.

when i took it in for service i turned off the chip(stock mode) and just erased the faults. i dont think they can even detect it unless they physically open the ECU

Default The chip w/ EMCS option and 1 program lists for 599 I believe. Go to APR's site.

I gave the link below. This way you can read all their info and decided what's best for you.

Default Hang tight one more day. The 100 octane for the non-DBW A4/Passat will be...

ready on Thursday. At that point stock, chipped and 100 octane will be available. Feel free to give us a ring with any questions.

Thanks
